Winifred Billups

Winifred Ella Bernice Turpin Byrd Billups was born January 10, 1948. She transitioned from labor to reward on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.

She was the daughter of the late Reverend Edward H. Byrd and Mrs. Madeline Smith Byrd and the widow of the late Harold V. Billups Sr.

She is survived by her two children, Harold V. Billups Jr. and his wife, Terlyn and Chalanda D. Billups; two grandchildren, Aniya and Ryana and a host of other relatives and friends.

The viewing will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 13, 2023 at the funeral home.

The funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 14, 2023 at First Baptist Church Hockley. Interment in Sunny Slope Cemetery, West Point.

Then, returning to First Baptist Church Hockley for the repast.
