Mary Griffin

Mary E. Griffin departed this life on Monday, June 16, 2025. She was born on January 1, 1940 to the late Celia Davis Johnson and Marshall Johnson Sr. of Saluda, Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Griffin Sr.; sisters, Patsy Bagby and Emma Mae Johnson and one brother, Marshall Johnson Jr.

Mary was previously employed with Rosegill Farm and Bethpage Campground where she worked until her retirement. Mary enjoyed fishing with her family and spending time with her loved ones while also gaining a new appreciation for crossword puzzles over the past several years.

Mary leaves her memory to cherish one son, Edward (Demetria) Griffin Jr. of Topping, Virginia; four grandchildren, Marc, Xzavion and Jaquan Griffin and Tarjah Key of Topping, Virginia; one sister, Annie Johnson of Saluda, Virginia; devoted nieces, Patricia (Rodney) Willis and Sheila Baytops of Saluda, Virginia and a host of nieces and nephews.
