Lee Virginia Jones was born on August 4, 1935 to the late Frances Washington Clark and Cephas Yates. She departed this life on Sunday, August 2, 2026
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeter Buryl Jones; son, Ronald and granddaughter, Whitley.
She is survived by her daughter, Marlene; sons, Carroll (Donna), Milton (Rhoda) and Derrick (Shambrishia); daughter-in-law, Carolyn and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2026 at First Baptist Church Hockley. Interment in the church cemetery.
The viewing will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2026 at the church.
