James E. Wilson

Deacon James Everette Wilson was born November 19, 1950. He passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021. Those he leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 40 years, Janet Porter Wilson; three daughters, Carla Mahn, Jackie Watlington (Cory) and Shannon  Mason; three adoptive daughters, Tiera, Tiffany and Tamara Wilson; a son, Brian Porter (Patricia); his sister, Denise Blake (Ervin); his brother, Samuel Wilson Jr. (Bonita); seven grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Nancy Oliver (John); one brother-in-law,  Ozie E. Porter Jr. (Vivian) and a host of other relatives and friends. The public viewing will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 14, 2021 at the funeral home. The private (family only) funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2021 at the funeral home followed by the interment in Morning Glory Baptist Church Cemetery, Gloucester.
