Ivory N. Taliaferro Sr.

Ivory Noble Taliaferro Sr. was born December 23, 1939. He departed this life Saturday, January 23, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Delores Breedlove Taliaferro; parents, John Sr. and Mozelle Taliaferro;  brothers, James Alfred, George Elliot, John II and Ellis Sr.; sisters, Lenora Smalls and Estelle Taliaferro.

He leaves to cherish is memory his two beloved children, Ivory II (Barbara) and Leslie (Michael); sisters, Margaret Hoffman, Gloria Lumford and Plunard LaVerne Robinson (Mason); sisters-in-law, Mary Taliaferro,  Maudestein Taliaferro,  Amie Taliaferro, Charlotte Westfield and Denise Breedlove; brother-in=law, Leslie Breedlove; grandchildren, Ivory III (Fabienne), Jeremy, Maya, Zekiel, Mason and Silas; three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The viewing will be 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2021 at the funeral home followed by the graveside service at 1:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church Hockley Cemetery.
