Garry Garnett

Reverend Garry W. Garnett was born December 4, 1931. He transitioned from labor to reward on Friday. August 15, 2025. He was the widower of the late  Reverend Dr. Mary Geraldine Garnett. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He retired from the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation after many years of employment. During his retirement, he was a service associate at the J.K. Redmond Funeral Home. Reverend Garnett was the pastor of Metropolitan Baptist Church in the Samos/Waterview community of Middlesex County.

The viewing will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2025 at First Baptist Church Hockley. The funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the church. Interment in the church cemetery with military honors.
