Doris McGilvary

Doris E. McGilvary aka Puddin was born January 8, 1939 to the late Robert Jackmon and Florence Manley Billups. She departed this life on August 19, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe McGilvary Sr. and son, Monroe McGilvary Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Parker; son-in-law, Lorenzo Parker; grandchildren, Earl Billups Jr., Tameica Ferguson, Maurice Billups, Travis Bradby and Tervaris Bradby and a host of great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m. August 31, 2026 at St. Luke Baptist Church, Plum Point. Interment in the church cemetery. The viewing will be 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., before the service, at the church.
