Albert Ali

Albert "Al" Mohammed Ali Sr. of Gloucester, Virginia, peacefully entered into eternal life on January 31, 2026 at the age of 93. He was born in Washington D.C. on December 29, 1932 to the late Abdul R. Ali and Edith C. Sullivan Ali. After residing in Prince George's County, Maryland, for many years, he moved with his son and family to Gloucester. He was preceded in death by his wife, Veronica G. Johnson Ali and brothers, Abdul and Prince Ali. 

He is survived by his sons, Ahmed (Sandi), Albert Jr. (Teri), Assam (Candice) and Agimon; his grandchildren, Ahniya, Ahvanah, Nicholas, Nehemiah, Tajee, Jordan and Jaden and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the viewing 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at J.K. Redmond Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, February 13, 2026 at Thornton's Funeral Home 3439 Livingston Road, Indian Head, Maryland 20640. Viewing will be at 10:00 a.m. followed by the service at 11:00 a.m.
